Maps and Mapping CD-ROM

This CD-Rom provides the perfect starting point for learning about the world of maps, and how they reflect the landscape that they describe. It includes maps of three contrasting areas in the UK: the upland rural terrain of the High Peak, the urban and coastal landscape of Plymouth, and the mixed lowland of Telford. Maps can be viewed in many different ways, whilst photographs and a 3D interactive mode enable students to deconstruct the maps to understand the geographical information that they provide.
