The unit observes how the landscape of Britain has evolved over 2,000 years. Filmed entirely from a helicopter, the programmes offer a unique opportunity to visit key sites of the past. The vast wealth of evidence in the landscape is revealed; a platform for the study of local history and for an overview of each of the six key periods.
